The Scarlett Nela children's mattress is made of heat-treated coconut fibres in combination with PUR foam. A special thermal technology is used in the production process to remove all mites (parasites). The coconut fibres are compressed tightly enough and bonded with rubber milk to form a resilient layer. The coir mattress is very breathable and helps for quality sleep and development of the baby. Even after soaking, the coconut fibre dries and airs out quickly. The cover material is removable and can be washed separately in the washing machine, according to the instructions for use.

When choosing a mattress, it is important to choose a sufficiently firm and flexible mattress. The child not only lies on the mattress, but also spends a significant part of the time in the cot, sitting or standing. A mattress that is not very firm and resilient can cause the baby to crawl up into the crib frame and deform the legs.
